Hello dear bloggers! This time we will be writing about our favourite TV shows(s)/ film(s).

Before you write, try to think about the following:

  • What it is about (story line)
  • credits (cast/director/photography)
  • favourite episode/scene
  • favourite actor's line
  • any detail you deem worth sharing.

Leave comments on 3 of your classmates' posts and one on mine too. A quality post should have no less than 180 words.

GAME OF THRONES

It was summer 2013, I had just become an English, French, Spanish translator and I had lots of expectations about my future job as a translator. I started compulsively sending CVs wherever I deemed worth working in Concepción, but I received no answers or job offers at all. As a result of this, I spent entire days looking at the ceiling when at home because I didn't have any schedule at all. In the middle of one of those productive days, I came across a TV show that would become a life-changing experience forever: Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones isn't the story of one single character. It follows several story arcs. One arc is about the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms and follows a web of alliances and conflicts among the noble dynasties either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence from it. Another focuses on the last descendant of the realm's deposed ruling dynasty, who has been exiled and is plotting a return to the throne, while another story arc follows the Night's Watch, a brotherhood defending the realm against the fierce peoples and legendary creatures of the North.

Game of Thrones is a highly addictive TV series. I remember watching a whole season in a row without sleeping. The reason why I love it is that everything in it is just great. Nothing could have been done in a much better way.

My favourite actor's line is the one in which Daenerys Targaryen says: I have been sold like a broodmare. I’ve been chained and betrayed, raped and defiled. Do you know what kept me standing through all those years in exile? Faith. Not in any gods, not in myths and legends, in myself. In Daenerys Targaryen.

My favourite scenes are: the one in which Jon Snow is declared King in the North, and the one in which Little Finger is executed.
